"Backup" car got towed erroneously, right before I was gonna donate it away. Now I get to play 3 way phone tag between the police, the tow company, and the donations's tow company and sort this out.
A part of me wants to get a decent high mileage subaru, saab, or volvo wagon for a beater, but another part of me wants to get something nice worth garage-ing and have the gti be the beater 😆
Average speed includes the ~5 mins of local roads and stoplights before I hit the highway. Might also include the warmup time of setting destination/music etc before pulling away. I'd say about 60-65mph cruising, with the rest of the difference being interchanges and typical mass pike slowdowns
