Anyone with an aggressive meaty 17" setup?
This will be my setup in a few days once the Apex wheels get here. 245/40/17 RS4s on 17x9 et42 Apex’s.

Photos are 255/40/17 NT01s on same wheels. Based on measurements 245 RS4s are only slightly skinnier.

Lowered 1.1” with 2.5F/2.0R camber. Not a lot of rear fuel filler clearance.

For those running 18x9 ET45, is it possible to run this tires with just the static camber plates like the Whiteline or Superpro, or even the insert from Euro Sport? I am looking at some wheels mostly between 18x9 ET 45-52 right now. I am installing the H&R OE Sport springs, so the drop will be minimal. My intent is to use 255/35/18, the car is a DD and the goal is to run EQT stage 2 as soon as I can get to build the exhaust, and possibly an IS38 swap in the future so I am looking at the most thread width I can accommodate in the car as possible.

Not in the rear unless they are narrower 265s. Depends if Golf R or GTI. I ran 265s all round with just 034 plates on my 7.5R.

GTI, not looking at 265's right now, 255. Between Pirelli P Zero or Michelin PSS, thought about Nitto Invo's, they held good in my turbo GTO.

Looking for some insight. '15 R looking to throw on EMD springs and run 19x8.5 +37 on a 235/35. The other option is +45 but I don't want to run much as far as spacers go. Would the 37 fit even if it means screw mod?

255/35/18 PS4S on 18x9+45 Neuspeed RSE11R. 100% stock suspension, no rubbing but adding front camber and 3mm rear spacers soon (strut clearance is quite tight with these tires).
