Low MPG next steps

Keep it going.. Mine sucks but I don't get on the freeway often, there are some 55mph zones I get in. The accord was the best fuel mileage car I ever owned lol. Everything else garbo so I don't even pay attention to the prices or mileage really.

15 min at 35 mph is barely getting the engine warm. That would explain a lot. Your highway trip would not affect long term mpg...you would need to reset whatever method you're using.

My commute is very similar to his - 15ish min at 35, sometimes 40 mph with a few stop lights. And I'm getting the MPG numbers I posted. So I don't think that's necessarily his issue.

A dirty A/F sensor will give you crap mileage. Maybe get some readings. Not sure what’s normal though.

Might be time for a fresh upstream O2 sensor

Yea I'm basically the exact same as Torga. About 26.5 on average, best was 34 on a long trip. Summer is a lot better than winter as I'm dealing with as cold as -40 weather
