i swapped BCM in my 2016 golf tsi s from lowline CECM to a highline CECM, did the initial long coding switch and got it read to be brought to VW dealership to get the faults cleared and the KEYFOB coded.

Battery died yesterday. Got a new one today. 3rd. Battery. 5yrs old in June 65k. They just die in these cars. One weak start then dead. Had to use key to open the door. Went back to vw again. Glutton for punishment. 5year , 2 prorated. Their warranties are getting longer.

Bought this for the Rabbit.

Install was going well until I went to clamp and saw that the pipe is a different size on rabbit edition.... Of course the site I ordered didn't have this posted ? (They have been told about this and it has been removed from the Rabbit section of the site; still waiting on a response from them. CTS and every other site I looked it up on after does have it posted that it does not fit. Just didn't research first) I did make it work though, so for the other rabbit people it is possible.

Took the whole tail section off and had a muffler shop expand to the correct size free of charge. SO, you can make it work on the rabbit but not as intended. End of day, it's still a success, and the noise is only slight, but noticable.

Completely unnoticeable sound change to my naked ear.

Back of my car is currently gutted, if I had everything back in there, I would have to agree that it would probably be unnoticeable. With the TCR exhaust that is going on it soon, it will definitely be noticable. Striped to put sound deadening back there once it's here.
