So the past few weeks I've been hearing a slight whooshing sound from underhood when accelerating. Still running a stock airbox w/ K&N drop-in so I'm guessing it's either a vacuum leak or something more sinister (cracked manifold?). The car doesn't appear to be loosing any power.
Any ideas...
So one of my Xenon bulbs appears to have killed itself. These things are supposed to last a very long time so I'm curious if anyone else has experienced a failure and if so, is it covered under warranty? Thanks

So after sitting in the garage for the past 8 months I finally installed my rear bar.
The rubber bushings supplied by H&R have a molded-in textile weave where the bushings meet the bar itself. I'm guessing it's there for noise supression but, like the rear bars I've installed on my last 3 cars...

FYI: we're running CCW on Saturday and CW on Sunday. It's almost like running on two different tracks!
Does anyone know if the 2.0L TSI motors are designed with any kind of valve to piston clearance? Basically designed to avoid piston slap and the dreaded 'moneyshift'.
I know my 325i doesn't have any clearance and the number of damaged engines out there are many.
