Thanks for the response. Went ahead and got the CTS intake a while back. Really was getting tired of pulling the engine cover off and didn't want to hack it up to fit the catch can hoses. IIRC Clem runs an Evoms intake too. Filters on those things look massive. I've found fit on the CTS intake is OK.
Silicon adapter where it connects to engine is a little too tall, needs to be trimmed and until then is bumping on the cap for the brake fluid. When they installed it they missed that it was rubbing against a bolt on my firewall, wore a pretty good gouge in the intake piping but caught it before it went through. Aside from that, can't complain. Kind of interesting to have now that I've watched the massive flame war blow-up between CTS and its (mainly BSH Speedshop) detractors.
I try to stay out of the politics though.
