I had a 99 1.8t passat wagon... Lots of subtle mods... Fast daily driver. Loved driving that thing on the highway.

^this Maybe a good set of coils, sways, LSD, unibrace, cross brace, and rear sub brace can put us in the same ball park.

torque makes it more fun to drive around town. feels faster at lower RPMs.
