Followed a couple of DIY's off this site (Thanks to whoever put up the DIY's), and managed to remove the rear wiper and smooth the rear VW emblem.

Just had mine installed. They sit nicely at the back, but the front still looks kinda high (1 - 2 finger gap between fender and wheel), and they have been lowered as much as possible.
