Ive had a mechanic take a look and he suspects its an injector fault. As the car starts and runs with easy start. So deffo not crankshaft or camshaft related. He said injector on these are a pain as the fuel rail needs setting/realigning? Is this correct?
Also can I check injectors with vagcom?

I’ve just put on a new battery as the last went dead. I tried it again today and it just kept on turning over but not start. I assume this could well have drained the battery?
Just seems bizarre if the G28 sensor was changed quite recently. Im going to check the wires too incase there’s a short there. Will post up vagcom result soon as I can. Thanks
