I was going to post but then I realized that my GTI is on stock suspension too so I might get flamed by modderz.

This new R needs nothing. No one goes to buy a Lamborghini and "dropz 1 inch aggressive brah"

EDIT: Not saying the R is a Lamborghini but the R is definitely a niche car. Compare the R to a regular mk7 golf and you will see that the engineers gave it the suspension height with the most functionality AND performance/reliability in mind
