I drive stick but really resent not haz-ing heated seats. Is I a bitch?
Out of budget, otherwise E90 M3 is indeed the perfect daily driver.
I am actually thinking of the RX8 as the cheap-ass little brother to that car.

wow, so I just looked up some tests of the new M3 compared to the E90...
the "400 lbs lighter" car is ~75 lbs lighter
Has there been a single car launch that promised significant weight savings and actually delivered?

Nope, you guys are a bunch of fucking losers.
that new M3 really looks like a joke, all you gain is 5 mpg and a newer warranty (that you'll fucking need with those turbos)
Apparently they took out a lot of weight by removing the sound deadening because it tested 76 bloody dB at 70 mph. That is Chevy Spark levels of road/wind noise. dafuq...
Based on the motoring press only the new Miata will have achieved that!
+100tq is not a joke.
0-60 is identical and it gained a whole 0.2 secs in the 1/4 mile - with better tires and lighter brakes so it's not even apples to apples.
It's not a fucking diesel commuter, it's a "Motorsport" car. HP >> TQ
t makes 406 lb-ft of torque at 1500 rpm -- 111 lb-ft more and 3000 rpm sooner than the V-8 it supplants. In a test a month earlier, we recorded 0-60 mph acceleration of 3.8 seconds (0.4 sec faster than our 2008 long-term M3) and a quarter-mile run in 12.1 seconds at 117.8 mph (0.6 sec and 7.2 mph faster).
