Minor scratches on the windscreen

Is it possible to remove minor scratches from the windscreen?
Today some dirt or small pieces of stone was trapped under the windscreen wiper and it made that scratching sound you DON'T want to hear when you just applied the windscreen washer :(

It resulted in a handful of tiny scratches that aren't really that bad - it just irritates me to know they are there :help:

I purchased some of the Auto Glym glass polish and am planning to give the windscreen a good once-over this weekend, along with the whole car. I'll let you know how it goes.

Scuff marks

In a related question, does anyone know how to buff out or any product that can get rid of some really light scuff marks on the body? i was at a car wash and the brush they had apparently made a few really light scratches on the door. you cant really see it unless you look at it at an angle and with the right lighting, but like the original poster said, it just bothers me. is there any product or wax type liquid i can use to get rid of this?

Did you do it? How did it go?
My laziness knows no bounds. :frown:

I will try to do it this week. I promise to give you an update when it's done!

I finally got around to using the AutoGlym Window Polish on my windscreen, and I saw little to no benefit whatsoever. I'm going to have to take my car in to a windscreen specialist and have them buff out the scratches.
