For all 2.0T FSI customers, GTI owners, and VW lovers alike, this weekend will be another great challenge for APR Motorsport. In our second season we have recently scored 3 first place wins in a row accomplishing a goal not set by VW in America in over 25 years. Our next race will be held on the weekend of August 14 - 16, 2009 for the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières. If you're in the area, we'd love to have you come out to support the race. If not, live timing and scoring can be view online at the Grand-Am website.
The schedule is as follows:
Friday, August 14
2:10 PM 2:50 PM Practice – KONI Challenge ST
8:00 PM 8:30 PM Practice – KONI Challenge ST
Saturday, August 15
8:20 AM 8:40 AM Qualifying – KONI Challenge ST
11:00 AM 11:45 AM KONI Drivers Autograph Session at Team Transporters
1:15 PM 1:30 PM Pre-Race – KONI Challenge ST
1:30 PM START – KONI Challenge ST Race
More Race Information:

1.521-mile, 10-turn street course
Race Duration: 200 mi or 1:30
This should be an exciting race. Since it's a street course, some of the turns are pretty tight, as seen below. Lots of wrecks and action last season! Unfortunately this race will not be televised but if it's an exciting race I can get some in car video for everyone.
Wish us luck!
