Messed up..Painting Emblem What sand paper?

I messed up painting my rear VW emblem black because a freekin bug flew into it.. and the texture is all all rugged and not smooth at all.. looks real bad..was just wondering what kinda of sand paper i should use (grit) to take it off and start over? Please help

depends how bad it is, if you need to start all over again use 200, if you just need to fix some blemishes in the top coat try 400

I just used some brush wire and started all over looks good Thanks
