Mod Friendly dealership

After buying my R last spring here I have only just now started to add some mods. My sales guy told me that any dealership that refuses warranty on a vehicle that has been altered is ridiculous, unless the part replaced is so far out of spec compared to the oem. Obviously they wont warranty the aftermarket part say if a spring broke or something along those lines but it wont viod your warranty either. The place is Beranger VW in rochester, nh. they have been in business for nearly 40 years if not longer and are very laid back about most things.

Berranger is where I bought my GTI. The service guys in there are great guys, but the guy they have running used sales and inventory kind of rubbed me the wrong way when I bought my car. Mancehster VW sucks balls, and Seacost VW is pretty good as well.

He told me the same thing. As long as the aftermarket part you have installed doesn't directly effect the problem you're having, it won't void the warranty.
