Scratch from Rock on the Road...

I have a deep scratch from a flying rock to my New GTI yesterday.. Man.. my car was only 2 weeks old. I was wondering beside putting on protection bra .. does anyone know anything about touch up paint.. ?? is it easy to do it yourself to repair the scratch... ? how much is the touch up paint?

To do it right you will need to touch it up with paint, wet sand it, polish, and wax it. Unless you are comfortable with wet sanding your nice new car, I would recommend living with it or paying a pro to do it.

I bought the touch up paint from the dealer for... i think it was only $11. i only used it to touch up the chip on the end or my door and under/backside of my mirror. Didn't really trust myself to use on the hood, i didn't want it to be raised about the stock paint.

the scratch is about 30mm long, 15mm wide... on the right hand side hood... do you know how much approximately the pro paint job is for repairing scratch...?
