new to photoshop and want opinion

i have had cs2 (i know im behind lol) on the computer for a LONG time and the other day i went out with a friend and was using his camera in a few shots. had a blast learning to use it and what not. after i decided to try to edit one or two and try to learn how to use the software. im really happy with how this pic came out of my car and what not and what i did. any pointers or what not would be great :thumbsup:

I think the black and white area of the first picture needs a tad more contrast. Other than that, it looks great. :thumbsup:

looks like you de-saturated parts of the car. those big grey splotches on the door are pretty ugly. cool shot though

I could be mistaken but I think those splotches look like spots of sunlight that made it through the trees.

yeah its just the lighting i think cause i went over the whole thing. granted a grey car is probably not the best for a black and white but im just trying to figure out how to do things in photoshop ya know
