Well my buddy came by last night and we raced once only up to about 60-65. We went from a roll and we launched at about 10 mph. At 65 I was ahead by a little over a car. After the race, he said he shifted perfectly and there was nothing he could do. Im sure if we raced 1/4 mile I would have had 2 or 3 cars on him. Not bad for my first race.

Why only up to 60-65 didnt wanna get a speeding ticket just incase?

THe police will give you a reckless driving ticket for racing up to 65, If i see cops around i never accelerate all the way, ive gotten many tickets that way. Be careful.

The area where we raced was parallel to a freeway and there was a stoplight coming up soon.

I got whipped in my spev from a 50mph roll by a friend in a 00 or 01 VR6 GTI, and mine ran 15.20's @ 90. Specs are great from down low and that's it. Good kill none the less though.
