I have been playing around with it. Its decent so far, there are some cool things about it. I like how minimal it looks yet can still get to everything you need pretty fast.

Dont think its gonna catch on and be as large as Firefox.

Chrome is alright. It is a really good start. quick to load up and quick to load pages. Ill still stick with my FF/IE combo I use unless Chrome can gimme a real reason to make a move though. FF did with tabbed browsing and inline search. Chrome just has the "Most recently visited thumbnails" and really that is about all that it has that sets it apart(sure maybe I havent found all the features yet, i did not do a full audit of it).

Great start. Good first gen. lets see how it evolves now.

Doesn't it use the same webkit rendering engine as Apple's Safari?

(edit) Here we go...I thought I read this somewhere.

Here is something interesting about Google Chrome. They have incognito browsing.
Press ctrl+shift+N when in Chrome and it pulls up a new window that says this:

You've gone incognito. Pages you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close the incognito window. Any files you download or bookmarks you create will be preserved, however.

Going incognito doesn't affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:
Websites that collect or share information about you
Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
Surveillance by secret agents
People standing behind you
Learn more about incognito browsing.

Now you can finally surf porn without others finding out

Obvously you could always clear this up yourself manually.. but now it is automatic.. Nice feature..

Keep in mind, if your work has a web filter/monitor.. they will still know where you have been going.. This just removes traces from your computer but does not "secure" you from external network communications.
