Hi all,

I just became the proud owner of a CW 2008 GTI. I'm loving this car and have been reading the threads on this forum. Especially the threads on disabling the DRLs and the remote window up and down feature. I am broke from buying this car and would like to see if someone in the Chicago area could help a fellow MkV owner and vagcom my car. Please PM me and many thanks.

try calling city volkswagen in the city...1773.794.7800...they helped me with my DRL's.no charge.

city vw disabled my drl's as well and made some other changes to the lights, they programmed the windows up/down fuction with the keyfob... all free of charge :)

I'll second that. I just took my BMP into City VW today for my 10K service - and it's most definitely the best dealership in the Chicagoland area, and it seems very mod friendly.
