So I decided to edit a picture that I took to try and enhance it. What are you opinions on the new one? Over saturated, etc?

Original:

Yes, lol. IMO one of the best compliments any digital editor can recieve (whether still, moving, etc.) is when you've done some editing, but a person wouldn't realize it without having an original side by side next to them. Think about special effects in a movie--when they are done well, you might not even consciously realize they are special effects. when they are bad, they stick out immediately.

i'm not saying your edit is bad or anything, but even without the original side by side it's pretty apparent that the saturation is jacked.

if you just were trying to liven up the picture, my suggestion would be to tone down the saturation, or maybe the contrast.

if you want to highlight the car, you might mask it and edit the background and the car separately.

Cool, that's what I figured I guess. Thanks for the advice. I'll probably mess with it more tomorrow.
