Free Video Editing Software?

I just got a new camera last night, but the software that came with it doesn't do videos. Anyone know a decent free program? Thanks.

decent, yes. free, no. My friend Is editing with Sony Vegas right now. It isnt Final Cut Pro ..... but it will do.

downloaded windows movie maker...I've seen some decent vids that were edited with it so we'll see how it goes. I didn't need anything fancy so it should get the job done:thumbsup:

Canopus has a free trial of EDIUS.. by far my favorite edit software. I've used quite a few different edit suites and worked in a TV studio for several years building NLE's. Anyway, here's my personal rankings..
EDIUS > Premiere > Final Cut Pro > Avid Pro > Sony Vegas > Pinnacle > Windows Movie Maker (lulz)

Thanks I'll check that out. I tried uploading a vid into movie maker and it wouldn't play right, it was all chopped up and pausing and breaking up. I dont know what was wrong with it, it plays fine on the camera...
