***About to buy an 08 GTI***NEED ADVISE PLZ!!

Yesterday for about an hour of negotiating w/ Autobarn in IL. They had offered me $24980.00 (not including TTL) for a 4 door (Auto) w/ sunroof and 18" wheels. It would be greatly appreciated from GTI owners in IL for some feedback on that offer. Do you think thats a good deal, or am I getting ripped off?

Also while I was there, I saw a 08 Jetti wolfsburg edition. It had just about all the features of the GTI, but with heated seats for around $22000.00. The test drive was nice, but is there anything I need to know about this car that will make me not interested?

sounds good to me. I got the same thing with just the 17"s for 24600.

a friend of mine payed 22 and some change for a two door dsg no options. So i think your getting a good deal.
