I just got my car March 1st and was told by the dealership that I was the first in DesMoines. So, I doubt that there are too many Iowans out there with this car yet. Welcome to anyone else who checks this thread. Post a hello or anything else you feel like saying. If we get enough Iowans on here we should be bale to do some sort of a meet.....but that is down the road.

I'm from Nebraska (Omaha). I don't have a GTI and I'm not sure if I will anytime soon. I just bought a new car last Aug. and don't know if I will be able to get out of it without taking a major kick in the shorts...if I can weasle out of my current ride I'll be picking up a 5-door GTI this summer.
Or if I win the lottery I'll buy a fleet of them. lol
