Hey,

When I first got my golf I remember I could have opted for sport suspension. However I didnt, and now I want to lower the car a bit and also stiffen the ride. What OEM options do I have? I want to stick to original volkswagen parts.

my suspension is stock and is a 1.4 so im assuming its the same height.

im running 18" as well as the R32 so it should even out. you cant really see the difference in the pic but there is

im also looking to get mt 1.4 lowered

so i was wondering if springs were the right way to go?

people tell me after changing just the springs the dampers will need to be changed sooner or later

so is coilovers the best way to go?

coils will proberbly be better off tbh mate seeing as springs are about £140 and dampers will be about the same it`ll add up as being more or less the same price as coils
