Anyone have anything to say about Pentosin (German) Synthetic 5w-40 Motor Oil? thinkingabout getting that and oil filter + mag. drain plug from ECS Tuning to do the oil change on my baby....

I can tell you Pentosin IS a quality company and their products are normally suitable for a given application, many times exceeding Manufacturer requirements. They are a popular OEM Spec supplier in the German auto repair market.

You can always check an owners guide or shop manual for acceptable fluids. Most of the time they give you fluid specs, not a manufacturer list/part #. Meaning, many different brands are acceptable if the fluid meets the grade guidelines.

im running pentosin in my mkv great oil i recommend it. its been in there for 1500 miles.

I recommend it. I bought off ECS. It's a good oil.

Very good Oil, I use it in my MKV. Got the Oil Change kit from ECS.
