Does anyone with dvd nav know if mp3's work with the stereo?

The GTI order form has a note saying the dvd based nav system is incompatible with mp3's.

not 100% sure but I remember reading someone else asking the same question and get the incompatiblity ans...

I'd get the standard stereo then upgrade to a aftermarket nav... you'll get nav and a better quality sound from the speakers.
