Bubblegum on paint

I must have run over some melted gum because I now have strings and globs of it all over the side of my car. Is there anything special I need to know before I try to wash it off? Any tips to make it easy?

TIPS:
Do not rub at it.
Heat it up with a blow dryer set on low heat.
Gently pluck it off with a MF towel you will then want to discard
Carefully wash and spot wax the area.
DO NOT overheat the paint with the blow dryer. DO NOT use a paint/heat gun.
