I was taking my GTI in for its 5k service this morning and I dropped in on the dealer who sold it to me. We've remained friendly since the deal as he's we're both artists on the side. So he was kind enough to let me take an R32 for a test drive...and man :eyebulge: . Lets just say the exhaust tone alone was boner inducing. It was a real short test drive as management is concerned with the mileage on the R32 they have for sale. But I did get to rock launch control and take some turns. The AWD was much more noticeable off the line and in turns.
AWESOME CAR. The kid in me says it makes me feel
about my GTI. But the grownup in me says that I'd only get myself in trouble with all that horsepower and that my GTI is very capable and still alot of fun. Also the gas mileage isn't nearly as good.
VW of Santa Monica has 7 on the lot and no waiting list for anyone in SoCal who's looking.
