Yeah, it was my second track day ever and my first with NASA so I registered for one. After the first session my instructor told me to register for 2 next time and he signed me off to solo later.

My realizations: my stock pads won't tak anither track day, nor will be 3/4 season tires. I need to put in my new pads, fluid, and lines, my Dan GSR custom swaybar and get some track wheels and tires. Dan, what whould you recommend for track-only tires? I have some in mind, but I wonder what you would recommend.

Those are the ones that seem to be the most commonly reviewed and recommended in the magazine's I've read. I'm not going to get them quite yet, just curious for now.

I'm on HPDE #4, but I am working on getting an SCCA Novice License first.
Then I'll get grandfathered into NASA.

I'll be able to race so much my head will spin.

it was. there's an organization called TrackDaze that has a few events posted in the events section of this site. I did a track day with them earlier this year. if anyone is interested in doing one of these, they're the people to talk to.
