Samsung SC-D6550 Camcorder and 5.25MP Digital camera for sale... This was virtually ONLY used for in-car footage, and mounted to a camera mount for quite some time. Thus the ONLY marks on it are on the bottom from where it attached to the camera mount (see pictures below) other than that it is in virtually new condition.
It uses Mini-DV tapes, and comes with the A/V cord and charger (I am pretty sure we have the manual and box also).
This is quite different from most other camcorder / digital camera combos, as it has TWO completely separate camera systems, two lenses, etc... The digital camera side of it is a 5.25MP camera, SD card slot, shutter speeds ranging from 1/2000 to 15 seconds and aperture from f/2.8 to f/6.7. Zoom for the photo side is 3x optical, 10x digital.
On to the video side of things, as stated, its MiniDV, all the nifty adjustments (sepia/title/etc), with zoom of 10x optical, and 900x digital. Also, the covering is still on the LCD, thats how rare it is for it to be opened/used.
Battery life is usually in the 90-120 minute range or so, and recharges quickly..
When this unit came out in late '05 it retailed for around $750.. We are asking $275obo + shipping
