Picked her up today

Collected my new Candy White DSG today, and to put it mildly I'm blown away.

It is simply fantastic to drive.

The acceleration, torque and pick up really surprised me. I knew it was quick but not this quick.

To be honest I think VW are underplaying things with their official 0-60 figures.

I can't imagine how quick a tuned version must be.

But apart from all that the most impressive thing is the DSG gearbox. It's brilliant. In Automatic mode gear changes are seamless, and so quick.

If you're undecided between manual and DSG, take my word go for DSG.

You wont regret it!

Yeah, congrats man. The DSG is definately very good, but I still prefer the "old" way of shifting gears.:biggrin:

This is my second semi automatic car, the previous one being an Alfa Romeo GT selespeed, which wasn't great. DSG however is terrific and to be honest I can't see myself buying a manual again for a long time.

yea, i'd go w/ the MAN 6 as well!

Congrats! My last car had E-shift (push buttons on the steering wheel). It was alright, but could never compare to the joy of actually shifting a manual.
