Welcome to our new friends who we met today over BBQ lunch in the workshop!

Hopefully you can register on a local forum and join us for a drive along OPH and Peats Ridge Rds, with the Cayman S and a few VWs and Audis.

It was amazing to see the car porn produced by Ron Goodman ('58 Speedster, '58 Outlaw Road Racing 356) from Exclusive Bodywerks / xxxclusive Racing at Granville.

Ron not only lent these amazingly restored cars for the day, but came over in his black 356 ragtop (notice a trend here?) to chinwag a bit, then came back later to pass on some biz cards and leave a stack of his Porsche Vintage Racing t shirts for us. :thumbsup:

I'll post some pics here in a short time.

Thanks everyone at Porsche Centre Parramatta, for making this such a successful day, Ron Goodman for creating the cars, lending them and pasing on the freebies and to PCA for making the day possible and for the showbags and extras, like lunch, which was great. :smile:

I didn't take interior shots but it has plexiglass race windows, very cool vintage aluminium racing seats, the khaki metallic finish throughout and hardcore, very heavy duty stuff plumbed throughout. Four pot brakes too.

Someone else will have to tell you about the engine as I think it has gone on holidays.

Can't say I'm an avid Porsche afficionado as I don't know much about them save the newer models (other than the drool for a Porsche Turbo).

I did buy my boy yet more cars today, which included a replica 911! He can even say "porshhh" :biggrin:
(So do i count as a Porsche owner now?)

Porsche Club NSW had a display day last Sunday managed to catch a bit of it and there were some very nice cars on display

Martini stripe... does anyone (aside from the owner) like it? On the Planet-9 forums I read that this kind of thing isn't reversible without a full respray.

Either white or silver. Leaning more towards white. But a Porsche is at least two years away yet.

Nice grey 987 Boxster S PDK at Bobbin Head, parked near us.

I liked it until I spotted the paddle shift and PDK shifter - and thought of you!
