100 octane at the pump

This was new news to me, so I thought I would share it. There is a 76 station in San Jose that sells 100 octane gas from the pump. I'm not sure how much it is, they didn't display the price on the sign, and I haven't got any yet. When my tank runs out I'll try it and let you know how it is. The address is 3010 almaden expy and it is on the corner of almaden expy and foxworthy ave.

Has anyone tried 100 octane gas in their mkv before?

Remember now, this is california. Its hard to find 93 octane, let alone 100. The 118, is that from a pump on the streets?

Its not worth the money. I bought a tank full at 5.09/gal and there isn't much of a difference. I saw about a 1 pound gain in boost preasure, but thats it. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I guess it was more than what I got.

i highly doubt that 110 would make that much of a difference over quality 93 oct for a stock car.
