ipod hook up for new mk5

i was wondering if the ipod hook up from the factory shows the band list and song titles when you are scrolling through it on the cd player. or if it only shows tracks. i dont know about everyone else but isnt kind of hard to memorize 5000 tracks and remember wich one is what your looking for? hmmm.......

just got mine done yesterday. No song titles or anything. Unless someone can show me how it can be done

Nope-no song titles, just five playlists that you create from 1-99 songs. The 6button on the cd changer controls all of the songs.

i got the neoion at first and it didn't work--so i returned it. i posted it here:

in the end, i ended up installing the factory ipod adapter. it works just fine and i am happy w/ it.

Does the ipod still show the song on its screen? I've thought of gettng the wire but running it to the console instead of to the glovebox.
