i bought my car in '06 and haven't yet had to do the emissions testing. i think newer cars don't require the testing until after 4 years or something like that. not sure if it changes anything if the car was purchased used, but if i haven't had to do my '06 yet, i doubt you would have to do your '08 for a few years at least.
FWIW i have an APR catted DP, and picked that one because it purportedly passes emmissions testing. what area in denver are you located?
