Make a duplicate layer.

Take paint brush and make whole layer black.

Reduce the opacity of the duplicated layer.

Take the eraser tool and erase the black off of the car so the car is only thing color.

Go to palette and change it from normal to color.

Hooray!

There is a much much much easier way to do "color focusing" than the method listed above...

in photoshop, open up Images>Adjustments>Hue & Saturation. In the drop down menu where it will say "master" by default select every color except the one you want to leave and slide the saturation slider all the way to the left...

then if there is any stray color, select the paint brush, switch the mode to saturation and go over whatever is colored...

and VIOLA!

most cameras do this on the fly. my canon does. just point it at the color you want to show up in color, press the arrow, and then shoot.
