however i think you have a real nice sleeper in your hands there. i dont think you'd be able to beat a stage 2 tsi or stage 2+ fsi. but i can def understand you pulling on a stage 2 fsi. it sounds right what you did. other than the s/c what do you have? headers?

stage 2 tsi's put 300wtq and 270whp give or take based on other parts and conditions from what i've researched
i do admit it that these civics are a hell of a lot more expensive to get 'quick' or fast. but i don't mind, cause if i went with the gti as my car of choice i would of went with the k04 kit or something bigger, so i would be spending lots of $$$$ regardless. lack of torque isn't really a problem for me, i might not have 1,000,000ft/lbs of it, but my torque curve is so flat you could sleep on it ;) so i dont really mind all that much

those TSI motors are strong man, i'd like to run into a stg 2 one just to see how it goes while im on 4psi, and then again when im on 10psi.

im running intake/header/exhaust/comptech supercharger right now, but will be upgrading to the stg 2 kit + extra's as soon as i can get my hands on it.

that being said, I love your civic. Props! and HUGE props on not being a douchebag like a lot of other civic/honda owners I've seen/met.

An acquaintance from school drives this:

and used to comment on my fb pictures saying how "slow" my car was. Obviously my car is slow, but it's damn faster than his stupid 94 STOCK civic that makes under 100hp.

edit: here's a quote from him that you guys might enjoy: "lol.....a 2.5! my 1.5 vtec can beat that"
you have no idea how many 8th gen si's ive been cut off by, or i pull up next to one and give them a thumbs up and next thing i know they down shift and just fly off. there's only a hand full of civic owners ill hang out with.

and lol at a stock 94 hatch saying YOUR car is slow

thanks a lot for the compliments guys. im going to try to get some better pictures up and hopefully some more stories in the next few days

I came from a 2006 Civic DX-G to my GTI (at the time couldn't afford the Si). That being said I drove the Si dozens of times as I knew the salesman from highschool... Even stock those things are fun as hell to drive.

When it came down to buying my GTI, it was a choice between a 2dr Si, WRX and the GTI. The Si was my 2nd choice because I was bored with the 8th gen civic and also I needed a little more utility. Coming from a torqueless DX-G, I drove the GTI and was instantly hooked on all that low end torque.

The Si is a great car, I couldn't imagine it boosted it would be a monster

On a little bit of a side note, there's a "kid" that lives in my community that has a simply gorgeous Si Coupe. slammed, with some sort of bronze 5 spoke. The car is beautiful and actually sounds really nice. Too bad the driver is a total douche nozzle lol.

Alva- how are liking the TT-S? I was planning on buying one in the next year, did you own a GTI before you went for the TT-S and if so what is your feeling on it?

Sorry to threadjack OP!!
