New Smoothed Front

I Made it my weekend project to remove the numberplate holder smooth the grill and relocate the plate to the bottom grille..

What dya think?

Ps. that isnt a shite paint job i done 260 miles today so its dirty lol :)

that is exactly wheat my front looks liek debadged , black embelm, golf GT grills and lower grill

What about airflow for the FMIC won't the numberplate interfere?

The gti grill fits exactly were the old gt was. just 4 T20 screws, takes 2 minutes.

Hope it's easy enough. Just bought GTi one off ebay. THe GTi emblem come with it so I'm assuming it'll come off easy enough and hopefully just clip back on my GT Sport one?

i dremmelled a few of the clips off, only left 2 behind. cant really describe will try an get pics....

GTi grill came today. Will fit perfectly on my GT only thing is the VW badge is a different size!! AAArrrgh!
Gonna phone my local hwaco in the morning on the off chance they'll have the on eI need in stock!

my badge was a good bit too big. The hole in the GTi grill is like 127mm - think it's the same size as standard badges. Hopefully get hold of one before monday as I'm back to work offsore for 3 weeks!
