No escape for any of us from this one. This is Abu Dhabi in the UAE and according to its driver this is the new rapid response vehicle for the inner cities. He said it beat Honda and Opel in testing. I didn't hang around to ask details as police make me nervous

I know the dutch use everyone as unmarked cars, so i wouldn't be suprised if they use GTI's

Unmarked cop cars come in all different makes and models, I've seen Nissian Altima's, Ford focus's, all models of Ford trucks and SUV's, Camaro's, Minivans. Maybe not using these vechiles as highway patrol but cops are out there in all sorts of vechiles, you would be surprised.

Hertfordshire police bought a few months ago 13 Subaru Impreza WRX STIs to patrol the M25... 6 in blue and 7 in silver. Unmarked, natch.
Also seen BMW M3s, Range Rover Sports, et cetera...
