Since the beans are all spilled at this point, this needed a proper thread. So you havent heard of Billyboat? They are the oem manufacturer of APR exhaust except for the RSC system. The prices are 28% less than the APR equivilent downpipe.

BB has confirmed the following:

- same exact piece APR sells except for the APR metal nametag.
- comes with adapter to mate to stock catback
- 200 cell metal cat
- fully compatible with CBFA TSI engine, slotted holes, 3 bungs

$509 + shipping, out of Arizona. (downpipe only)

I have one on the way next week to try out.

Note this pic is NOT their current model.

Billy Boat is popular with Corvettes and Porsches. I would have 0% problem with buying from them:thumbsup:

I saw crew219 mention BB made APR exhausts a year or so ago. Great thread though for those looking for pretty exhaust.

I have a B&B at home that was on my evo. I currently have a HKS hi-power and the B&B sounded much better. Sound and quality is phenomenal. Only exhaust that sounds better on the evo is the Buschur imo. Guess that explains why I always loved the tone of the APR.

strange.. i had never heard of BB until yesterday. guess its just not a common German brand.

If you want the real scoop, BB is probably pissed off since APR went with a new manufacturer for their newer stlye RSC exhausts. The noise cancellation ones.

Assuming i like the BB I have coming, I will probably sell my 42dd, preferably local pickup. For a slight discount, it is a week old afterall.

Well thats cool and it looks like they have the old stealth, for those who are looking for a quiet exhaust. It is queiter than the RSC but more drone.
