Well the weather is getting nicer so I figured it would be a sweet opportunity to get some meets together with people around the chicagoland area and meet some of you guys. If this is a stupid idea for a thread, then don't post here or simply point me in the direction of a thread similar to this. I just thought it would be a good idea to have everything in one area, meets, photo shoots, cruises, bbqs, etc. Obviously a lot of your guys know other dubbers so this could grow pretty large. I am actually trying to make a video for chicagoland dubbers sometime in may so if anyone is interested let me know

. My name is Ian by the way and I live in Morton Grove and Lincolnwood (parents are divorced) but I am out at school in Dekalb till May 7th and I know alot of mkiv people but no mkv people. I need some mkvs to roll with me to meets haha.

im up in north chicago in Great lakes by the navy base. MKV GTI. i'll keep a look out for meets. i just hit up my first meet in 2 years and forgot how sweet they were.

keep me posted as well, I have yet to really meet anyone from the forums so that is something I'm looking to change once better weather rolls in.

The drive from west chicago kinda sucks, but at least it's still in my GTI. :)

yeah this place in bolingbrook has a nice parkin lot and a couple of baseball feilds that we can hit up for some softball it is called indian boundries hit me up if u want i can start planning something out

sweet, glad to see every one is on board with this! I am down for a bbq and softball as well. Any of you guys got a facebook? Much easier to set up events on there and stuff.

not for me, that's where I make all of my events and stuff, but what ever works for you guys I will post on here too. It's just easier to keep a count of everyone that is coming and send out messages if need be.

could just create a group on facebook if you really are adamant about using that over this forum and we can join and have all that shit organized there...and yes, it is easier to organize things via the facebook imo.
