so i was in the process of swapping out my valence for a votex, had a camera in hand and decided why not.
this took me and my friend about an hour. even though he didn't really do anything but hand me the tools. once you get the hang of this, it gets pretty easy. this is my 3rd time doing a bumper removal on an mkv.
required tools:
-TORX set (don't know what size, so it's good to have different ones)
-philips screwdriver
-10mm socket wrench
-hands
optional:
-car

NOTE: the taillight removal and the wheel well screws have to be done on both sides of the car.
step 1:
step 2: here's the car (optional of course.) stare at it for a few minutes. (pic whorage)
step 3: open the hatch and pull the carpets on the sides outwards. there's a slit in the carpet on each side of the hatch for this. don't be afraid to use some force.
step 4: once the carpet is pulled back, you'll see this. now we'll be taking out the taillights.
step 5: when i say "pry out", i mean push the clip outwards and it'll fall out.
there's also one more lower than these 2 in the pic: (forgot to take a snapshot of that)
