I take it nobody can point us in the direction of an owner's manual in PDF format???
If you wanted just a few pages, I could create PDF's of them, but the 2007 GTI Owners Manual (US) is nearly 300 pages :eyebulge: ...so I don't have time to scan all of that. Sorry.
I'd recommend using Google's "Advanced Search" and select a File Format to search by. (...I couldn't find anything though)
You may be best off to e-mail VW to see if they have one in electronic format that they could send to you.
As far as Bentley Publishers goes.... they ROCK! I bought their Mini Cooper Service Manual for my previous car and it came in VERY handy. Too bad it's collecting dust now. I should see about selling it on eBay.
