i originally made a thread about how i wanted to relocate a headunit in order to run the audio for my carputer. well i scratched that idea and just ran the audio through a 4 channel amp. here are the finished pics of my install.

the screen is a lilliput 7" touch screen. i use a wireless network adapter connected to a 7-port USB hub that i take out of the glove box to connect to my home netowork.

i purchased all the parts for the computer from different places online.

VoomPC Ampie computer case
epia mini-itx m9000 motherboard (900 mhz)
512mb pc3200 ddr ram
80gb western digital 2.5" notebook harddrive
m2-atx dc-dc powersupply

i purchased a double din mounting kit off of ebay and modified it to fit the screen into it. i will post pics when i get home on what it looked like when i was fabricating it.
