Possible to "Delete" Speed Sensitive Wiper Function?

I searched but didn't find what I'm looking for. When I come to a stop in a driving rain I still want my wipers to move at the speed I originally selected. Is the speed sensitive wiper function a "feature" that I can program out of my car somehow?

Is that an 08 feature? My car doesn't have speed sensitive wipers. I don't like features that take control away from the driver...except CC of course.

I don't know if it's unique to an 08' or not but it's a definate pain in the arse in a driving rainstorm!!!

its a good feature to me...in my 07 the only time the car changes the speed automatically is if you have the wipers set to the second selection (non-variable) and they only slow down when I am at a complete stop which i like, but to each their own.
