I thought I'd put this out to those more in the know. I'm keen to get these for my GTI (which I don't have and won't till January

).

Was also considering the Jetta bumper...

Can anybody name those rims?

Edit: Since found them. Now it's Giovanna Capri vs Lamborghini Gallardo OEM

the wheel design on their own isnt bad but i really, really hate chrome wheels... in my book they have no place on a euro or jap car.
putting chrome 'shoes' on a GTI is sacrilege .. let the chromie hommies keep their bling to their holdens and rex's

I'll admit, that is what I am hesitant about. I would want to see them in the flesh before buying them, which would make it hard as they're so hard to find. I was also considering the Lamborghini Gallardo OEM 19" rims.

I quickly PS'd them on to see what they would look like.

Any other recommendations?

I'm also um & ah'ing about the girl as I think they work well together. Maybe not that exact girl, but something chrome to compliment the wheels.

They are Rondell 0024 Wheels!

They look like 20s.

that profile on that tyre is 25 not 35.

wouldnt last on the roads in melbourne. 1 pot hole and one gutter scrap the rims ruined.

Sydney roads wouldn't be much better. I thought they might be the 18"s. No? Well even if I went the Gallardo rims (which are do-able), I'd be in the same boat right? They're 19"s.

Aren't you going to have that problem no matter what good looking wheels you buy?

I guess I just don't let my girl drive it. She's scraped the two back sides and 1 front side of her motor in the past 3 months. Let's not even mention the rims.

For anyone who intends doing any track days or country road driving, you might regret going with any wheel over 18". And this is doubly so if you are lowered. There isn't enough compliance in the tyre wall with such low profiles and your shiney new rims take the brunt of the impact. But they do look good
