vs. fully-bolted supercharged Scion TC

Cruising down 405 yesterday some tool in a lowered, tinted Scion SC flies up next to me in the carpool lane and slows down to cruise next to me. Then he starts the ricer "let's race" stuff with speeding up then slowing back down to get next to me. So, right when he got back next to me the third time I drop it into 4th and just went. I went up to about 120 (empty highway) and he was at least 300 yards behind me. So I let off and slowed to about 70 and it still took him a couple of seconds to catch up.

He comes up next to me with some doofus in the passenger seat rolls down his window starts giving me the thumbs up. We yelled back and forth out the window and he says how his friends car (the driver) has full bolt ons with a supercharger and he's amazed how fast my GTI is. Lol. Then all of a sudden the driver takes off with this dude still hanging out the window. Was pretty damn funny.

I probably have 30-40hp on him but he just got lost behind me real fast - maybe bad driver, dunno. Funny tho.

seriously.. i hate the TC.. ive raced a turbo one here in Tracy.. it was faster than a stock TC ill say... but not faster than a stg2 gti.. shit im sure a stock gti with a intake could keep up with one.. the tranny is total gayness!!!!!!!

lol when the first came out i went to dealer to drive one and i was playing with the shifter and the shift boot ripped of from the base. that cover for the radio thing was broken too and was like falling out. personally my statement wasnt "hatin" lol its just that they are economy transports like civic cx, corolla etc they are by no means a sport car in my eyes or anythin close to a sport compact, etc.

xb isnt as bad as a TC.. in ugly department the XB takes it, but every XB driver knows they arent fast... the TC drivers.. are just plain fucking retarded.. i seriously want to line everyone of them up, make them bite the curb.. then press my foot firmly on the back of their head causing their jaw to crack... thats how badly i hate TC owners

Yeah, I know someone with a tC and he thinks it's the shit somewhat. I mean, he added all this dynomat and a rather impressive stereo system, but a lot of money for what? He drives like an asshole too. Put it this way. My old 98 Jetta GLX 5 speed kept up with him up top (chipped, intake) and weighed a hundred more pounds or so. He did seem to have more low end torque than the VR6 though. VR6 didn't wake up until after 3500rpm.

Not a fan of the TC's either, but looks like they respond well to turbo power. On streetfire there are some insanely quick stock motor (w/turbo) TC's lurking around.
