What's my options to enable bluetooth on a MFD2 nav?

I had a Parrot Kit in my car that worked well. Just telephone though. Used the button on the steering wheel and everything.

What else do I need aside from the Parrot BT speaker?
I've heard that I also need a connector that goes behind the HU in order to make the SW button work
How much did it cost you in total?
I can get a VOLK-L kit for around 170...wondering if the parrot kit will be any cheaper
If not, I'll go for the O.E kit

The Parrot kit plugged into the wiring harness behind the HU. The HU displayed "Telephone" when it was on and no coding was necessary to get it to work. It came with a microphone and that was it.

The 9W3 VW bluetooth kit for red MFD works with the MFD2 DVD nav head unit.
Been using one for 5 years on mine, the active noise canceling for the microphone in the stock location works very well.
Of course, that system is getting harder to find, although I bought another one for our other VW with MFD2 DVD and red MFD less than a year ago from mfd3.com.

It was available on US Mk5s near the end of the model run.
When the red MFD went away, VW discontinued it, so it is no longer in the VW parts system.
Contact the guys at mfd3.com, they will know if any are still available.
Before I bought my last one in June 2012, they had them marked as out of stock,
but apparently they found some more back then.
I have also seen them from time to time in the vwvortex classifieds.
