Balance Shaft Delete help

I have a mk5 gti 2.0 fsi AXX engine code.

So.. To render my balance shafts redundant is it only the one gear on the inside that i have remove? Once this gear is removed will all the gears for the balance shafts sit idle? And will they no longer spin and be connected to the 2 oil pump gears on the outside of the pump?

Do I need to plug the hole that would feed oil to the balance shafts once I have rendered the balance shafts useless?

Are the two outside gears for the actual oil pump?

Could someone also post up the specs for the oil pressure that my car should be running.

Lastly, does any gasket or anything sit between the oil pump and the bottom of the engine block?

Thanks in advance. Any help would be much appreciated.

Not tryin to be a dick but shouldn't you have researched this a bit more before attempting it?

Are you going to balance the rotating assembly after unhooking the balance shafts? If not I predict you'll be able to blend paints in your spare time.

just cut the gear.... cut on either side of it, it will fall out. it is pressed on to the shaft. everything else is left the same

the weight savings of actually pulling the shafts is not worth the effort.
